Manchester United manager Michael Carrick singled out goalkeeper Senne Lammens for praise following the goalless Premier League draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The Red Devils entered the match on a three-game winning streak and were heavily tipped to extend that run. However, Sunderland produced a dominant display in front of their home fans and deserved more than a single point. Lammens made several stunning saves to keep the hosts at bay, earning high praise from Carrick after the final whistle.
“He’s been so solid and calm. He’s been a big part of the results we’ve achieved this season,” Carrick remarked.
United now hold a six-point advantage over fourth-placed Liverpool in the standings, all but securing third place. Still, the focus remains on finishing the campaign positively. With 65 points already, winning their final two matches would push them to the 70-point mark.
