Cultural Leonesa failed to take advantage of Cádiz’s slip-up, produced a poor performance against Albacete, and next week could see them relegated to Primera RFEF.
Badía:
Once again, he was the best player for Cultural Leonesa. When your goalkeeper is consistently the standout performer, it’s not a good sign for the team as a whole.
Víctor García:
He conceded the penalty that led to Albacete’s first goal, using his hand to clear a ball that was heading into Badía’s net.
Rodri:
One of the few players who, yet again, showed what it means to wear the Cultural shirt. He demonstrated maximum commitment and fulfilled his defensive duties.
Tomás:
He struggled to track back, making it too easy for opponents to get in behind him. He was substituted for Barzic.
Homan:
The Qatari full-back was not sharp, facing significant defensive problems in stopping Albacete’s attackers.
Bicho:
One of the few positives for Cultural Leonesa. He showed flashes of quality through his assists.

Radoja:
He returned to the starting lineup and displayed qualities of a higher-level player. The issue is his form, which is far from optimal.
Chacón:
Intermittent. He did have a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Calero:
He got himself sent off with an absolutely unnecessary red card. We’ll have to see how many matches he is suspended for. Everything else he did on the pitch is secondary.
Víctor Moreno:
He grew into the game, but at least he tried on his flank, creating danger and attempting crosses.
Sobrino:
The fact that the player expected to be the team’s attacking reference has only scored one goal says it all. Against Albacete, he looked too erratic and lacked rhythm.
Also featured for De la Barrera’s team:
Tresaco:
He came on to replace Sobrino. He offered something in attack but struggled immensely to track back during defensive transitions.
Lucas Ribeiro:
He scored Cultural’s goal, but he is far from the player some claimed had an unmatched magical touch.
Sergi Maestre:
He replaced Radoja. The Belmonte crowd welcomed him with applause, and he brought some stability to midfield, although he also lost possession on a few occasions that led to dangerous plays for the visitors.

Cultural
Rubén de la Barrera: “It’s a complicated feeling that’s hard to put into words.”

Albacete – Cultural
Albacete pushes Cultural closer to the abyss.
Barzic:
He could have done more on Albacete’s winning goal.
Diego Collado:
He came on for Víctor Moreno to provide more offensive options but failed to make an impact.
